Julian Pierce, M.S. L.Ac
Julian Pierce is a licensed acupuncturist with a passion for helping and educating those around her. Her love for acupuncture began after she suffered from an autoimmune disorder that was misdiagnosed and treated as depression and anxiety. After her symptoms worsened on anti-depressants, she went for a second opinion and was later diagnosed and treated for Grave’s disease. Although she was eventually correctly treated with Western medicine, her symptoms did not completely resolve until she went through consistent acupuncture and herbal treatment, this sparked her interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine and she knew she had to help others the same way she was helped. She graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a B.S. in Business-Communications and later pursued her dream of receiving her M.S. in Acupuncture from the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
After taking over 3,000 credit hours in studies and clinical work, Julian took her NCCAOM boards and became licensed in NYS. Prior to graduation, Julian traveled abroad to China where she was able to observe acupuncture in a clinical setting at the Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of TCM in Hangzhou. Immediately after graduation, Julian set sail the Norwegian Jade cruise ship where she treated patients around the world, however, after 7 months on board Julian realized her true passion was to bring her love of acupuncture close to home.
She now practices Traditional Chinese Medicine at Park Place Acupuncture PLLC where she treats patients for a variety of conditions such as anxiety, depression, digestive problems, weight gain, menopause, pain and much more. She provides her patients with the care and understanding they need in order to achieve the results they desire. She is excited to assist patients on their journey to better health and looks forward to making an impact in her community.
